HEY-HO, DADDY-O!

Sat and watched the river
until the river went dry.
Too many things
just seem to pass me by.
Singin’ hey-ho Daddy-o,
you got to let it go.

Singin’ hey ho, Daddy-o,
you got to learn to just let it go.
Singin’ hey ho, Daddy-o,
you got to let it go.

Lived up on a mountain
until the mountain went flat.
How do big things
just disappear like that?
Singin’ hey-ho Daddy-o,
you got to let it go.

Singin’ hey ho, Daddy-o,
you got to learn to just let it go.
Singin’ hey ho, Daddy-o,
you got to let it go.

After a while,
you gets what you gets.
Put on a smile
and send your regrets.
Head on down the highway.
Laugh about it someday.

Went down to the crossroads,
it was another dead end.
Found the devil
actin’ like my best friend.
Singin’ hey-ho, Daddy-o,
you got to let it go.

Singin’ hey ho, Daddy-o,
you got to learn to just let it go.
Singin’ hey ho, Daddy-o,
you got to let it go.

Wandered through the desert,
but the tide came rollin’ in.
Wish I knew now
what I was diggin’ then.
Singin’ hey-ho, Daddy-o,
you got to let it go.

Singin’ hey ho, Daddy-o,
you got to learn to just let it go.
Singin’ hey ho, Daddy-o,
you got to let it go.
